3.3 Understand

Aims: Knowledge focused, helping learners understand more about the level of government the politician they are speaking to is from. They ensure that the learners have an understanding of the roles/responsibilities of the type of politician they'll be meeting with.

We have Understand resources to explain Welsh Local Government, the Senedd, the UK Government, the House of Lords and many other aspects of the democratic system.

Qualities: More traditional teaching resources eg: slide decks, worksheets and lesson plans.

We recommend delivering one lesson using "understand" resources with your learners that cover the level of government the politician you are speaking to is from.
